PURPOSE: Plasma display is provided to increase a shielding effect of an electromagnetic wave by forming a substrate or a front board into a conductive material having a predetermined resistance. CONSTITUTION: An address electrode(22) of predetermined pattern is formed on upper side of a substrate(21). A first dielectric layer(23) is formed on the substrate(21) formed by the address electrode(22) and fills the address electrode(22). An insulated layer(31a) is formed on the lower surface of a frontage board(31) corresponded to the first dielectric layer(23). Plural electrodes comprised of a common electrode(32) and a scan electrode(33) is formed on the upper surface of the insulated layer(31a) by a predetermined pattern. The common electrode(32) and the scan electrode(33) is comprised of a transparent ITO(Indium Tin Oxide). Bus electrodes(34,35) is formed on the common electrode(32) and the scan electrode(33) in order to reduce a line resistance. A second dielectric layer(36) is formed on the lower surface of the front board(31) formed by the common electrode(32) and the scan electrode(33) and the bus electrode. A protecting layer(37) comprised of a MgO is formed on the second dielectric layer(36) in order to protect the dielectric layer from a discharge. A barrier(38) is formed between he first and second dielectric layer(23,36). An external light reflecting layer(39) for reflection of an external light is formed on the upper surface of the front board(31).
