In a method of attaching a connector 1 to a corrugated metal hose 5, an insert 4 of high electrical conductivity material is introduced between the connector and hose and the connector and insert are radially pressed together and on to the hose, in known manner, by magnetic action. The connector has a coarse thread which engages in a corresponding groove in the insert and the insert has a plain bore or an internal screw-thread which locks in the helical groove of the hose. A protective hose and a woven wire cover are fitted respectively over the hose 5 and connector 1. |
