NON-AQUEOUS SYSTEM SECONDARY BATTERY WITH HIGH CYCLE PROPERTY

PURPOSE: A non-aqueous system secondary battery is provided to possess high capacity density and improved lifetime of the high temperature cycle by adding PAN as an additive instead of typically known electrode additive. CONSTITUTION: The battery comprises an electrode active material selected from Li-transition metal oxides, nitride, carbide, bromide or carbon materials; conductive material; binder; and PAN(polyacrylonitrile) additive in a mixing ratio of 0.01-15wt.% based on total weight of the electrode material. The battery shown in the figure 1 is a coin cell constituted of top cap(1); a gasket(2); a spacer(3); a negative electrode(4), a separation membrane(5); a positive electrode(6); electrolyte(7) and a bottom cap(8). The electrode active material is preferably selected from LiMn2O4, LiCoO2 or Li(Ni-Co-M)O2 (wherein M means "metal" element or transition metal).
