A device (18) for preparing a reaction mixture for a re-forming catalyser (28) of a fuel cell arrangement (10) comprises air feed means (20) for providing a regulated air supply, fuel supply means (22) for providing a regulated fuel supply, a steam generator (24) for providing a regulated steam supply, liquid water supply means (25) for providing a regulated water supply and control apparatus (26) connected with the water supply means (25), steam generator (24), fuel supply means (22) and air feed means (20) and arranged to determine setting magnitudes for the connected components in dependence on a power demand at a fuel cell (16) of the arrangement (10) and the operational phase of the device (18). Water-cooling means for cooling the fuel supply valve seat may also be provided. |
