Two-piece housing and manufacturing method therefor

Several bores (3, 4) are provided in each piece (1, 2), those in the pieces being coaxial with each other. Each bore in each piece is enclosed by a concentric centring portion, these fitting closely together and one inside the other. These portions can be formed by segments, all internal ones being on one piece and all external ones on the other. Each bore and its centring portion can be formed in a single operation, using a boring tool with two cutters set to the respective diameters.
