PURPOSE: To provide a system that used both beam steering control and null steering control while compensating for the defects of the beam steering control and the null steering control in order to simultaneously overcome problem relating to howling of a rapid change in the propagation environment (1), performance maintenance as an adaptive antenna (2) and the adoption of an algorithm fitting the propagation environment (3) by paying attention to these three points in the case of putting an adaptive antenna system into practical use. CONSTITUTION: A CPU, a memory and a directivity generating part which correspond to a plurality of algorithms are provided in a base band modulating part and a base band demodulating part, beam steering processing, null steering processing and incoming direction estimating processing are parallelly performed, and beam steering processing results and null steering processing results are subjected to weighted synthetic processing while reflecting incoming direction estimating processing results in the parameters of the beam steering processing and the null steering processing.
