PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to improve the external appearance by removing a gap between a cover frame and a door screen. CONSTITUTION: A door(5) of a microwave oven includes a cover frame(20) having an opening(25) for observation, a door screen(30) combined to the cover frame to block up the opening of the cover frame, an electromagnetic wave shielding panel(40) placed below the door screen, a rear door panel(50) combined to the rear circumference of the cover frame, and a gap removing member(10) interposed between the cover frame and the door screen. The gas removing member has an inverted U shape section with a hanging groove(17) hung on a hanging rib of the cover frame. With the structure, the gap removing member is simply combined to the cover frame, and rearward displacement of the gap removing member is prevented by a skirt portion(33). Plural hanging protrusions(18) of the gap removing member keeps firm combination of the gas removing member. By removing the gap between the cover frame and the door screen, the external appearance of the microwave oven is improved.
