PURPOSE: A coupon service device and a method for operating thereof are provided to arouse a user's interest by enabling the user to confirm a state of a coupon or accumulated coupon points through a growth process of a character. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal module(1) uses a coupon service. A communication module of a service joining company(2) provides a coupon point to the user terminal module(1). A reference terminal module(3) provides items of coupon services of the user terminal module(1) by items to a user. A coupon service management system(4) includes a database(5) which stores and manages information on joining companies, a database(6) which stores and manages characters by companies, a database(8) which stores and manages position information of the companies and a database(9) which stores and manages homepages of the user terminals(1). The reference terminal module(3) accumulates and calculates coupon points according as a user purchases a product.
