METHOD FOR OBTAINING IMAGE INFORMATION AND DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To provide an image information obtaining method, its transmitting device and its transmitting system, by which a user easily obtains an image file corresponding to a purpose from another communication unit by a remote operation. CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with a transmitting/receiving means 60 for transmitting/receiving information with another communication unit and an information processing means 44 for generating and presenting a directory for classifying the plurality of image recorded in a recording medium 54 and transmitting the requested picture file to another communication unit via the means 60, when another communication unit requests the providing of the optional image file based on information of the directory. Then the user easily selects and designates the desired image file corresponding to the purpose from the communication unit by the remote operation, based on information of the presented directory.
