<p>Method of orientation of a rock drilling rig (4) relative to a coordinate system defined in a rock body. According to the invention information about desired rock volumes for blasting in the coordinate system of the rock body is stored in a memory of the rock drilling rig (4). The information is presented to the operator who through successive choices chooses a desired rock face (3) for drilling. The local coordinate system of the rock drilling rig (4) is connected to the coordinate system of the rock body through orienting a feed beam (6) on the rock drilling rig (4) with the aid of a laser beam (2) defined in the coordinate system of the rock body.</p> |
