PURPOSE: A pipe expander is provided to maximize convenience of use and expanding workability as well by carrying out a rapid expanding operation as set into a desired pipe size. CONSTITUTION: A pipe expander includes upper and lower rotary fixing mechanisms(10,20), front and rear cover brackets(30,40), an expanding mechanism(50), a support bracket(60) and lock mechanism(70). The rotary fixing mechanisms(10,20) have semicircular pipe fixing grooves(12,22) for fixing pipes subjected to expansion. The cover brackets(30,40) have upper slide axial holes(31,41), lower axial holes(32,42) and through-holes(33,43) for the pipes(P) subjected to expansion. The expanding mechanism(50) is fixedly assembled to the front cover bracket(30) through screwing of a screw shaft(52). A support bracket(60) elevates the upper rotary fixing mechanism(10) along the slide axial holes(31,41). The lock mechanism(70) has a screw shaft(71) rotationally assembled to the front and rear cover brackets(30,40), a fixing bolt(72) assembled to the screw shaft(71) and a nut(73) assembled to the fixing bolt(72).
