PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to prevent invasion of a wire to a gap formed by welding clearance of a door hinge and a door hinge reception hole. CONSTITUTION: A shielding member for preventing invasion of a conductive wire(40) into a ventilation hole(18) on the sidewall of a casing(13) through a connecting hole(31) and a door hinge reception hole(19) of a bottom plate(11) is prepared in a door hinge(20). The shielding member is integrated with the door hinge. An upper hinge bracket(21) and a lower hinge bracket(23) of the door hinge are received in the door hinge reception holes, and a connecting part(25) of the door hinge is welded to the rear face of a front plate(7). Upon welding of the door hinge with the front plate, a hinge pin of a door is received in a pin hole. With a combining part(33) and a curved part of the door hinge, invasion of foreign materials and a wire into a gap formed by the welding clearance between the upper and lower door hinge brackets and the door hinge reception hole is prevented.
