PURPOSE: A payment system the method thereof by using fingerprint sealing plate are provided to perform authorization procedures comparing the previous-registered user's fingerprint information and the transmitted fingerprint information. CONSTITUTION: A sealing plate(11) sets coordinates with a constant interval to its outline circumference or whole surface in order to extract the form, position, and angle of the fingerprint. A piezo-electric sensor is provided with the bottom surface of the sealing plate(11) in order to change the form, position, and angle of the fingerprint into the fingerprint information. A control unit(14) stores the fingerprint information and position information data applied by the sealing plate(11) to a fingerprint storage unit(13), transmits the stored fingerprint information and position information data to a card reader when a signal for requesting the fingerprint information transmission is inputted, and deletes fingerprint information and position information data. An input/output terminal(15) is processed by electroplating, contacted with a contact terminal of the card reader. The terminal(15) transmits the fingerprint information and position information data to the card reader transmitted from the control unit(14).
