PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing heat exchanger is provided, in which an extrusion process is eliminated, to thereby reduce manufacturing cost and achieve an improved heat transfer efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the step of forming an aluminum flat plate into a flat tube which is divided into a cup shape and a cover; the step of inserting a fin having a predetermined shape into the flat tube, and stacking air side fin and flat tube in sequence; and the third step of assembling the flat tube and fin into a heat exchanger having a predetermined shape, and welding the assembly through a brazing method. The fin is a square offset fin or a triangle off fin. Since the heat transfer fin is inserted into the flat tube and welded during braze welding which is carried out for the heat exchanger, cost consumption for extrusion process is not caused.
