PURPOSE: A bleach composition is provided, which contains the transition metal complex activating the peroxide bleaching agent and is improved in the bleaching power, the storage stability and the detergency. CONSTITUTION: The bleach composition comprises one or more kinds of a bleaching activator which is selected from the group consisting of the transition metal complexes containing the ligand represented by the formula 1, wherein n is an integer of 1-16; R1, R2 and R3 are independent each another and are H or an alkyl group of C1-C4; Z1, Z2 and Z3 are independent each another and are an electron displacing substituent selected from H, -CO2Me, -SO3Me, -NO2, a halogen atom and -OEt; X1, X2 and X3 are independent each another and are H, an amine group or -OH; and Y1, Y2 and Y3 are independent each another and are N or -CH-. Preferably the bleach composition comprises 1-50 wt% of peroxide; 1-50 wt% of an anionic surfactant; 1-50 wt% of a nonionic surfactant; 1-70 wt% of a builder; 0.1-25 wt% of tetraacetylethylene diamine; and 0.0001-0.5 wt% of a beach activator comprising the transition metal complex.
