<p>The steering arm (3) with bearing eye (4) is placed on a holder (2) on a press table (1). The joint cartridge is fitted with its bearing housing (6) into the bearing eye, so that initially only opposite conical parts are in contact, but the bearing housing still has axial play. The bearing eye is centred and aligned relative to a pressing-in device (10). The free end of the joint pin shaft (8) is centred axially to the device, and the shaft is preloaded in pressing-in direction, so that the conical bearing shell is fixed axially in the bearing eye via the joint pin (5). A tool (11) of the device is pressed on the bearing housing and presses it into the bearing eye.</p> |
