PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the fitting, to absorb the working unevenness so as to improve the positioning accuracy in a lock device to be used for a front spring-up seat cushion. SOLUTION: This lock device includes a fixed bracket 11 having a slot 17 in a support surface 16 and to be projected in rear of a seat cushion frame 33 by fitting the slot to an appropriate position of the seat cushion frame 33, a positioning bracket 12 having a pin bore 18 at a root thereof and positioned in the fixed bracket while moved forward and backward in a range of the slot and to be fitted to the fixed bracket for fixation by a location pin 21 inserted into the slot and the pin bore, a stopper 13 connected to the positioning bracket freely to be fallen forward or backward, a return spring for falling the stopper backward, and a strap for standing the stopper 13 forward while resisting the return spring.
