PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified allergens obtained by modifying group 2 allergen of a mite belonging to the genus Dermatophagoides having a reduced IgE-binding activity that are expected to be used, for example, for the allergen-specific immunotherapy. SOLUTION: Variants having a reduced allergen activity by destroying SS bonds of two pairs (21st-27th and 73rd-78th) or three pairs (8th-119th and 73rd-78th) of group 2 allergen of a mite belonging to the genus Dermatophagoides, a method for producing the variants, and genes encoding the variants are provided. |
