PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely forms seams without the occurrence of skip stitches and fine splits at a material to be garment manufactured which is constituted by forming the fibers composed longitudinally and transversely to high density and low density in their fiber composition direction. SOLUTION: A needle passage route is provided with a needle passage hole which extends slender to at least the hook shaft side of this route and this needle passage hole is formed to provide a spacing to prohibit the intrusion of a needle thread between the short side flank of the needle passage hole and the needle.
