FLAME RETARDANT POLYBUTYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin having sufficient thermal shock resistance without cracking in an usual temperature change when being applied to insert molded product and also excellent in flame retardancy. SOLUTION: A polybutylene terephthalate resin composition is prepared by compounding (A) a polybutylene terephthalate resin having an end carboxyl group quantity of <=35 meq/kg with (B) an impact resistance-imparting agent of 1-25 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition, (C) an inorganic filler of 1-50 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition, (D) a flame retarder of 1-25 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition and (E) an aromatic polyvalent carboxylate of 0.1-10 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition.
