PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rubber compositions having excellent crosslinking reactivity and crosslinking properties by subjecting an epoxidized natural rubber and a halide of a 1-8C isomonoolefin/p-alkylstyrene copolymer to co-crosslinking reaction. SOLUTION: The rubber compositions comprise (a) a rubber having an epoxy group in the polymer main chain, (b) a halide of a copolymer of a 1-8C isomonoolefin and a p-alkylstyrene, and (c) a compound having at least two functional groups selected from an amino group, a thiol group, an episulfide group, a carboxyl group, and an acid anhydride group in the molecule as the crosslinking agent.
