<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing winding device capable of changing the rotating force of a winding shaft required to deform an energy absorbing member. SOLUTION: A spool 20 is connected to a torsion shaft 32 via a planetary gear train 80, and the rotation of the spool 20 is accelerated and transferred to the torsion shaft 32 when the internal gear 86 of the planetary gear train 80 is locked. When the lock of the internal gear 86 is released, the spool 20 presses a rib 112 formed on the solar gear 84 of the torsion shaft 32 via a rib 104 and a rotor 106 to rotate the torsion shaft 32 at a uniform speed. The rotation of the torsion shaft 32 can be accelerated or kept constant by the lock or release of the internal gear 86, and the rotating force of the spool 20 required for the plastic deformation of the torsion shaft 32 can be changed.</p> |
