PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foams which excel in moisture absorption and release characteristics and generate heat by absorbing water vapor or water, and have open cells or semi-open cells having antibacterial deodorizing properties. SOLUTION: The foams are obtained by foaming an unfoamed synthetic resin containing moisture absorption and release, water absorption-heat generating resin powders or moisture absorption and release, water absorption-heat generating resin fibers, and at least part of the moisture absorption and release, water absorption-heat generating resin powders is exposed to the outer part of the resin skeleton (the surface of a cell part) which forms cells.
