METHOD OF MANAGING FONT OF PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a memory volume of a hard disk drive necessary for storing font data without limiting a character decoration function that a printer supports in the printer having the font data in the hard disk drive. SOLUTION: The font data of an outline font stored in the hard disk drive of the printer is deleted. Bit map data of the bag-like character decoration font is generated by utilizing font data not having character decoration.
