PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated wood article. SOLUTION: A hot melt adhesive is used for laminating a decorative top layer (e.g. vinyl, paper or veneer) on a support formed of a woody or agricultural article (e.g. particle board, fiberboard, polywood and stawboard). The hot melt adhesive includes a polymer, which contains one or more monomers forming a Shore D hardness greater than that of the woody support upon polymerization or copolymerization, as a main component. The monomer of this type, includes styrene, methyl methacrylate, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride and diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The hot melt adhesive may further contain a tackifier resin, a flexibility imparting polymer, a plasticizer, a filler and other conditioning additives.
