PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent both cut ends of a flexible sheet material from being partially adhered to each other after fusion and fused flexible sheet material pieces from remaining in a hot cutter. SOLUTION: A portion of the flexible sheet material at the inside of the hot cutter is fixed to inside portion fixing means, the flexible sheet material is melted by the hot cutter and then the flexible sheet material pieces produced by melting, located inside the hot cutter, are separated from each other by flexible sheet material piece separating means.
