PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree protector capable of preventing a nursery stock from frost damage due to sharp temperature decrease as well as surely preventing the nursery stock from animal injury to promote its growth. SOLUTION: This cylindrical tree protector 1 is such one as to be made of a transparent or semitransparent resin sheet, wherein a plurality of vent holes 8 are provided, each at about the same height, in the area about 50-200 mm above the ground where the tree protector is set upright, and at a prescribed interval from the lower edge of the outer peripheral surface of the protector.
