PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate printing by eliminating variation of a heating value of a plurality of heating elements included in a thermal head. SOLUTION: This printing apparatus is provided with a measuring means for measuring an electric resistance value of each of the plurality of heating elements set to the thermal head, and an adjusting means for adjusting an energization time of each of the heating elements to make heating values of the heating elements almost uniform on the basis of measured electric resistance values.
