PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified allergens obtained by modifying group 2 allergen of a mite belonging to the genus Dermatophagoides having a reduced IgE-binding activity that are expected to be used, for example, for the allergen-specific immunotherapy. SOLUTION: Variants having a reduced allergen activity by modifying 34th, 95th, 99th or 66th proline residue of group 2 allergen of a mite belonging to the genus Dermatophagoides, a method for producing the variants, and genes encoding the variants are provided. |
