PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean the air in an enclosed space by removing the dilute organic gas of the order of several ppb generated in the enclosed space, for example, volatile organic compound such as formaldehyde, or the like. SOLUTION: The organic gas existing in the air in the enclosed space 8 in a super low concentration of the order of several ppb is adsorbed to an adsorption type organic gas concentrating means, for example, an adsorption zone 4 of a honeycomb rotor 1 carrying an adsorption agent, and a lamp 13 for irradiating near UV rays is inserted into the inside of a cylinder 12 carrying a photocatalyst at its inner surface, and the organic gas concentrated at a desorption zone 5 of the honeycomb rotor 1 is decomposed by the action of the photocatalyst activated by photoirradiation to clean the air in the enclosed space. |
