PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing device which is efficiently operated in a compact form and without a qualitative problem by virtue of an ink jet recording method, under a CTC system for making a printing plate by directly drawing an image on a plate material fitted to a plate cylinder as well as a lithographic printing method. SOLUTION: This printing device performs lithographic printing after directly drawing an image on the plate material fitted to the plate cylinder of a printing machine and making the printing plate, by using the ink jet recording method for discharging an oily ink with the help of an electrostatic field based on an image data signal. In the lithographic printing device, a device relative to a plate making function is arranged in a specified space selected from (A) a space near the plate cylinder between a contact point between the plate cylinder and a blanket cylinder, and a damping water supply device, (B) a space near the plate cylinder between a contact point between the plate cylinder and the blanket cylinder and a printing ink supply device and (C) a space near the plate cylinder between the damping water supply device and the printing ink supply device. Also the lithographic printing method is provided. |
