PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject black tea having resolved such a problem that conventional black tea drinks made by soaking black tea leaves in hot water have given mainly red color to blackish red color, and making yellow-based light blue black tea drink has been impossible. SOLUTION: This new black tea (drink) is obtained by the following practice: black tea leaves are blended with safflower petals followed by addition of an acidic ingredient to effect running the safflor yellow in safflower susceptible to extraction, thereby affording the objective tasty and beautiful yellow-based light blue black tea drink as a result of soaking the above blend in hot water. |
