MOVABLE BODY DETECTOR AND TOILET DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body detector which is capable of detecting a movable body which moves to a wide speed range from a high-speed region to a low-speed region. SOLUTION: A sampling section 5 reads the AC components of the Doppler signals from a microwave sensor 3 according to the sampling periods set by a period setting section 17 and outputs these components to a frequency analyzing section 7 and an amplitude analyzing section 9. An operation analyzing section 13 judges the moving form of the movable body and calculates the present position of the movable body from the analysis result from the frequency analyzing section 7, the analysis result from the amplitude analyzing section 9 and the speed data from a moving speed calculating section 11. The moving speed calculating section 11 calculates the moving speed of the movable body in accordance with the result of the frequency analysis and outputs the moving speed to a learning holding section 15. The learning holding section 15 learns the calculation result of the moving speed, determines the sampling periods of the Doppler signals meeting the same and outputs the sampling periods to the period setting section 17. The period setting section 17 sets the sampling periods by the sampling section 5 in accordance with the sampling period data from the learning holding section 15.
