<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club and a golf club set capable of improving the directional control and the carry of a hit ball by setting the head size appropriately. SOLUTION: The golf club set includes plural golf clubs A3-A9, PW, and SW. A head 2 is mounted at the top of the shaft S of each club, and the loft angle of the face 3 of the head 2 is different among the golf clubs in the golf club set. When the loft angle X is in the range from 20 to 30 degrees, the forward moving quantity FP of the leading edge of the face 3 to the shaft line S1 is 5-20 mm, and the backward moving quaintly GR of the gravity center G of the head 2 to the shaft line S1 is 5-10 mm, the distance GL between the gravity center G of the head 2 and the shaft line S1 is 20-35 mm, and the height GH of the crossing point of a vertical line from the gravity center G of the head 2 to the face 3 and the face 3 is 11-21 mm.
