PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector capable of providing a high dust collecting efficiency even if it is miniaturized. SOLUTION: Second electric discharge electrodes 8, 9 are installed in the upstream side of perforated plates 6, 7 for making the flow distribution of a dust-containing gas uniform and the perforated plates 6, 7 are provided with a function as dust collecting electrodes to cooperate with the second electric discharge electrodes 8, 9, so that the dust in the dust-containing gas can be collected by the perforated plates 6, 7.
