<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw supporting mechanism for a volume reducing machine wherein only a rotary supporting mechanism can be replaced without replacing a die plate or a screw. SOLUTION: The screw supporting mechanism for the volume reducing machine comprises a die plate 6 openably blocking a leading end of a casing 3, having a discharge nozzle 4 communicating with an exterior through an interior of the casing 3 and a leading end side bearing 5 of a central inner side, and a screw 7 arranged to extend in a longitudinal direction in the casing 3 and rotatably supported at its leading end at the bearing 5 and at its rear end to a rear end side bearing (not shown). In this case, the bearing 5 is constituted to be removably mounted at a bearing member 5a having a bearing recess 10 at a central inner side of the plate 6. Meanwhile, a supporting shaft 13 rotatably engaged with the recess 10 is removably mounted at the leading end of the screw 7.</p> |
