PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving the wear resistance of a current collector which is used at a relatively low speed (5 to 40km/hour) and slides while being in contact with an aerial conductor without reducing its mechanical strength and also capable of reducing the wear of the areal conduction being an opposite mumber. SOLUTION: A power raw material containing graphite or one or more kinds of metallic sulfides (MoS2 and WS2) of, by weight, 2 to 13% as lubricating components, Bi of 1 to 7% as lubrication strengthening components, P of <=1% and Sn of 4 to 13% as sintering base components and the balance Cu is mixed, is compacted, is heated in a nonoxidizing or reducing atmosphere and is sintered.
