PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of camptothecin derivative that this compound has been widely and suitably used as an anticancer agent, but the induction of diarrhea and other digestive disturbance are reported as side effects. SOLUTION: The combination of the camptothecin derivative with L-carnosine zinc complex can improve digestive tract disturbance caused by administration of the camptothecin derivative without any adverse effect on the therapeutic action on the cancer.
