PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib tilt cylinder rod cover which can operate stably to meet elongation/shrinkage operation of a jib tilt cylinder whose angle with respect to the ground changes widely due to tilt operation of a jib, and which does not result in an increase in weight. SOLUTION: An end of a cover is mounted to a rod end of a cylinder while the other end thereof can slide only in the elongation/shrinkage direction of the cylinder by means of a slide means interposed between the cover and the cylinder and its operation in the radial direction of the cylinder is restricted.
