PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure surely improving rigidity of the body as a whole. SOLUTION: Beneath a floor panel member 7, a pair of side members 1 are connected together by means of a lower cross member 3d, both ends of an upper cross member 25 are passed through side wall members 20, 21 of the vehicle so as to be fixed to them, and along the side wall members 20, 21, reinforcing members 23a, 24, 27 are arranged for connecting the upper cross member 25 and the lower cross member 3d together. In this way, a rectangular frame structure connecting the left and right sides of the vehicle together is constructed of the upper cross member 25 serving as an upper side, the lower cross member 3d serving as the lower side, and the reinforcing members 23a, 24, 27 serving as the left and right sides.
