PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque distribution device for a four-wheel drive car capable of preventing a tight corner braking phenomenon and preventing only one wheel of the driving wheels from being slipped. SOLUTION: It is decided whether or not a steering angle detected from a steering angle sensor is larger than an angle at which a tight corner braking phenomenon is generated in step S30. When the steering angle is larger than the angle by this judgment, a step is transferred to step S40 and it is decided whether or not an inner wheel slip exists. It is decided that the inner wheel slip exists when a wheel speed of the inner wheel of the driving wheels is larger than that of an outer wheel of the driving wheels in step S40. A step is transferred to step S70 and a usual control is carried out. When it is decided that the inner wheel slip does not exist, the step is further transferred to step S50 and it is decided whether or not the outer wheel slip exists. It is decided that the outer wheel slip exists when a wheel speed of the outer wheel of the driving wheel calculated from a wheel speed of the inner wheel of the driving wheels and of an inner wheel and an outer wheel of a driven wheel is not more than the wheel speed of the outer wheel of the driving wheels, a step is transferred to step S70 and a usual control is carried out. When it is decided that the outer wheel slip does not exist, a step is transferred to step S60 and an engagement force of the torque distribution device is weakened.
