PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a multilayered pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which, when released from adherend to which it has been stuck, leaves behind e.g. a logo of a company on the surface of the adherend so as to make wrong opening of a package obvious and which has a backside material based on a stretched thermoplastic film. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, having a backside material based on a stretched thermoplastic film, comprises a clear thermoplastic film 10; an optionally clear releasable layer 13 covering the upper side of the film; and the following layers, formed on the under side of the film: (a) an undercoating layer 14 which covers the film only partly and adheres well to the film; (b) a release layer 15 which covers all the undercoating layer and the uncovered parts of the film, adheres to the undercoating layer more strongly than to the film, and contains a colorant; and (c) a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition layer 16 which is formed on the whole surface of this release layer and adheres to this release layer more strongly than to that release layer formed on the upper side of the film. |
