PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle module capable of maintaining durability of a boot and enhancing workability in replacing it, when replacing the boot for a constant velocity universal joint on an outboard side. SOLUTION: In this axle module, a fixed type constant velocity universal joint 13 linked to a bearing unit for a vehicle 14 is mounted to one end part of an intermediate shaft 11, and a sliding type constant velocity universal joint 12 linked to a differential is mounted to the other end part of the intermediate shaft 11, and the surplus plunging amount H1 up to the bottom part of the outer joint ring 48 of the sliding type constant velocity universal joint 12 is set at a dimension (K1+L1) obtained by adding an protruding amount L1 from the end surface of the inner joint ring 20 of the intermediate shaft 11 to the width dimension K1 of the joint inner ring 20 of the fixed type constant velocity universal joint 13 when the sliding type constant velocity universal joint 12 is at the minimum operating angle. |
