PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce stress concentration and residual stress generated in a joining part of side beams and a horizontal beam for vertial, lateral and longitudinal directional loads applied to a bogie frame. SOLUTION: This bogie is composed of an upper frame 1a and a lower frame 1b having an integrally press-molded U-shaped groove-like cross section having a curved surface shape of a radius of curvature R in a connecting part of both side beams and the horizontal beam of the bogie frame. A butting plate 3 is inserted into a space of the upper frame 1a and the lower frame 1b to be frictionally agitated and joined from an outside surface. Afterwards, the butting plate is extracted, and a blocking-up plate is welded to an opening. |
