PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the detects of a conventional sheet-like culture medium using a porous matrix layer, such as a defect that the observation of the growth of fungi is difficult and a defect that a long time is required until the growth can be observed, when applied to the fungi. SOLUTION: This culture medium laminate which is used for fungi and comprises a porous matrix layer and one to five water-soluble polymer layers, and whose water-soluble polymer layer most apart from the porous matrix layer may be laminated to a mount, characterized by containing an esterase- chromogenic substrate and nutrient components. The sheet-like culture medium that is used for the fungi and has a structure capable of nipping and closing the culture laminate with an adhesive sheet and a transparent film.
