PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a cap for writing tool, which can be attached simply and will not be dislocated so simply. SOLUTION: A cap 14 for protecting an eraser 38 is attached detachably to the rear end side of a receiving base 34. The rear end outer peripheral surface 34b of the receiving base 34 and the inner peripheral surface 14a of the cap 14, which are opposed respectively to the receiving base 34 and the cap 14 under a condition that the cap 14 is attached, are provided with a substantially circular sectional configuration and the base 34 is provided with a retaining projection 34c formed on the rear end outer peripheral surface 34b of the same while a recess 34d is formed at a position circumferentially apart from the retaining projection 34c, further, a plurality of flat parts 34e, made by notching the peripheral surface flatly at positions, apart circumferentially from the recessed part 34d and axially aligned substantially with the recessed part 34d. A second retaining projection 14b, engageable with the retaining projection 34c, is formed on the inner peripheral surface 14a of the cap 14 while a projection 14c is formed at a position circumferentially apart from the second retaining projection 14b. |
