PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically conductive resin composition effective for temporarily protecting an electronic device or element, etc., from harmful electrostatic disturbance and electromagnetic disturbance in the manufacture of the device, etc., and provide a protection method using the composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition is composed of electrically conductive fine particles and a binder resin and capable of forming an electrically conductive protection film on a coating object such as the electronic device or element to be protected. The electrically conductive fine particle is made of one or more materials selected from metals, metal oxides and carbonaceous materials and the binder resin is removable by dissolving with a solvent after the formation of the electrically conductive protection film.
