PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and with high accuracy separate and remove foreign matters, for example, electric cords, woods, faucets, cocks and the like, of a small amount mixed in wastes formed mostly of concrete trashes and stones. SOLUTION: Wastes formed mainly of concrete trashes and stones and also foreign matters of poor rolling properties mixed therein are fed onto an inclined plate set at a given angle and dropped along the inclination of the inclined plate, and the wastes are rolled on the inclined plate and separated into wastes of rich rolling properties jumped out far away by the inertia from the lower end of the inclined plate and wastes of poor rolling properties slid on the plate and wastes of poor rolling properties slid down on the inclined plate and dropped freely in the vicinity of the lower end, and then the separated wastes of poor rolling properties are fed onto an inclined separating device such as an inclined belt conveyor, an inclined vibration separator or the like and separated into the trashes of good rolling properties and foreign matters such as the electric cords of poor rolling properties.
