PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air guide system of a paper sheet obtaining the best printing result while the possibility of intervention in lateral movement is left. SOLUTION: The optimum characteristic curve of a paper sheet inherent parameter such as weight per area and the size of the sheet, also containing a carrying parameter of jet air pressure or the like becoming a basis for sheet carrying, plotted on a printer inherent parameter such as printer speed is prepared. The characteristic curve is stored in a memory. The present sheet inherent and printer inherent data in printing job are supplied to a CPU. The CPU takes out the optimum characteristic curve of the present data from the memory, and gives a corresponding instruction to individual actuator. An operator intervenes if necessary. |
