PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a simple and convenient reversible temperature sensitive color changing pressure sensitive adhesive tape that has the temperature measuring function capable of visually recognizing a temperature of an object or an environmental temperature by color change at sight as well as the function as a pressure sensitive adhesive tape. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive adhesive tape is provided with, on at least a portion of the front or back of a tape substrate, a reversible temperature sensitive color changing layer wherein a specific thermochromic pigment is fixedly dispersed in a binder resin in the form of a microcapsule including a thermochromic composition which comprises (a) an electron donating color- developing organic compound, (b) an electron accepting compound and (c) a reaction medium for determining the temperature that causes a color-developing reaction of the compound (a) with the compound (b). |
